Dermatology

The branch of medicine specializing in diseases of the skin has expanded since it first began but physicians in this field have always worked closely with Pharmacists. They know that not every patient responds to manufactured drugs and treatments. If you are prescribed a compounded medicine to treat your specific symptoms or disease, here at Marlowe’s Compounding Center, we have you covered from head to toe.

Our compounding professionals are able to use compatible drugs and combine them into a single dosage form, making them easier for medication administration and improve compliance. An example of this would be adding Ibuprofen to an anti-fungal medicine to speed up the absorption.

We are able to prepare individualized therapies for a wide variety of dermatologic problems including but not limited to plantar warts, acne, psoriasis and eczema. Our professionals can compound medications into cosmetically appealing creams, powders and topical sprays for the most efficient administration.

We frequently prepare one-of-a-kind formulations that have been developed by physicians to meet specific patient needs. At Marlowe’s Compounding Center we have created our very own “Marlowe’s Acne Gel” which is considered to be more effective than any over the counter product sold for acne. Not only do Dermatologists use it but many Primary Care Physicians prescribe it for their patients.

We delight in the time honored science of Pharmacy Compounding by creating specialized medicines for individual patients from their doctor’s prescription.

Questions pertaining to your medicine can be answered by contacting our compounding center.

“Over the years I’ve worn many crazy hats, but my favorite is that of compounding pharmacist.” -Jerry Marlowe R. Ph.
